Many years ago a friend told me about something a priest shared with her while she was on a retreat at Steubenville.
I think she told me that the priest attributed the words to a St. Catherine, but I have never been able to find the quote or context. Is anyone familiar with this?
The quote is something about the bread and wine at mass being such a thin veil and if it were allowed to slip away we would see Jesus standing on the altar.
