May good Saint Christina pray for us.

She lived so many centuries ago…people are intrigued by her story. She was most likely canonized by acclamation…a devotion of her cult, if you will. I can’t find record of a papal canonization. Not saying there is not a formal canonization, I just can’t find it. But she is listed everywhere…along with all the other saints. Reliable lists, most notably Butler’s Lives of the Saints. Good enough for me. 👍

Wikipedia dances around whether she was a saint or not. …and yes we are not to believe everything we read on Wikipedia.

On another note, St Cecelia is the oldest known incorruptible body. She died in 177. In 1599 they opened her cask to get some bones as relics. They got more than they expected. They got her whole incorruptible body - 1400 years after her death. What a great woman.

There are plenty of Catholic sites that list her as a Saint. As well as Butler’s Lives of the Saints which is a definitive collection of Saint biographies.
The bigger question is: I’m wondering why people are so reluctant to accept that she is a Saint? They accept Joseph of Cupertino…🤷
And you’re correct…I don’t trust Wikipedia as far as I can throw it, LOL.

Don’t get me wrong. I am not reluctant to accept her as a saint. Actually I have not heard of her until I read about her on this site. That is why I looked her up to see what she did.
