I have problems with panic attacks and anxiety. After I am restored to grace and can please god how to I ask Dymphna to help me? I have read she protects from insanity but that might be an old term.

Why can’t you go to her right now and ask her?

You could do a novena, but you could also just simply, in your own words, as her for her intercession and to help you with your illnesses. Talk to her as you would a friend.
 
I suffer from anxiety and scruples, and I wear a st dymphna medal at all times. Pray to her now!

I have a medal like a coin that I used to carry to mass and read the back of. But I haven’t realized any results from her. I also had it blessed of couse. What’s the meaning of wearing a medal or carrying a coin around all the time. Does she favor this?

I have a medal with a third class relic on the back of it, though I don’t wear it all the time. 🤷 Though, I’ve prayed the novena a few times and I’ve found it to help my anxiety quite a bit. Maybe not 100%, but at least enough where I’m able to sleep!

You can find a medal for just about any saint. Mostly, people use them as reminder tokens

Do you take any medication? I take plenty. I still have problems but I can stand myself. I have a medal to that can be put on a chain with a relic on back.

Definitely start a Novena to her ASAP. St Therese, St Rita and St Jude are good too 🙂
 
Go online and google the Shrine of St. Dymphna in Massillon, OH. The wonderful priest there sent me all kinds of info and there is also an online place to request prayer. I am sorry that I am such a loser at posting links. It will be easy for you to fine, though.
