i went today to spend an hour in devotion in the tabernacle… but could not even last 15 mins in there… i have got such anger in my heart against my STBX husband… and that translates to the whole world…
i dont know what to do and i know that life will pass me by if i transfer that anger to everyone else…
God has placed some very nice people in my life right now but i get very angry sometimes…

St Jerome is a patron against anger - apparently he could sometimes have a bad temper and actually had to leave Rome after the Pope who was his main patron died, because he’d offended so many people there!

And St Monica and St Rita of Cascia, who both had extremely difficult marriages, might be useful, so might St Maria Goretti, who actually on her deathbed prayed for forgiveness for the man who had stabbed her!

Anger is a very common emotion when going thru what you are. Give it to the Lord and ask Him for help with it. And yes pray to the saints to intercede for you (especially the ones that were hot heads:D ) You are recongnizing this which is very good, and you know where it is coming from. Ask the Blessed Mother as well to help you work this thru. I believe it will most likely be a process, and not instantaneous. Keep praying.:gopray2:

anger often has roots in feelings of helplessness. work on identifying what is in your control, and changing what you can, beginning with yourself, your spiritual life, habits etc. and work on letting go of what is outside your control (probably 90% of what is causing you grief).
