Okay I know that it is Simony to buy a first and/or second class relic.

However I’ve been told it’s a different matter with third class relics. Items that have been touched to a 1st or 2nd class.

Also I’ve read. Your buying a prayer card or rosary buying for this items. Attached to them is a piece of cloth that was touched to the item. Therefore your buying the container and the relics is yours free.

Others they’ll touch the time to the relics AFTER there purchased.

With this in mine. How can I get a Josemaria relic? If the above is wrong how do I get a relic of Josemaria without commiting a mortal sin?

You mean a first or second class relic? You’d have to be given it for free or as an inheritance I guess.

As for a third class relic, of course you’re permitted to buy a rosary or card or whatever that has a third class relic attached. As long as the rosary or prayer card costs the same as a normal rosary or prayer card and you’re not charged an inflated price simply because it’s got a relic attached.

That’s what I thought. So any idea where I can hunt a relic of Saint Josemaria down?
