Can one use the rosary to pray the Saint Michael chaplet? If so, how? I have plenty of rosaries but no St. Michael beads.

Depends on which version you are using.
You can easily make a corded one for yourself with the proper amount of knots. There’s lots of instructions online. Or I can make you one.

I think they pray the one where there is a specific color for each choir of angels…in sets of three. I used to have (maybe somewhere I can find it) it pamphlet that I bought at the gift shop there at the Shrine) that outlines the specifics and the prayers.
But there is also a St. Michael Chaplet that merely uses ten beads.
Let me know…you can PM me if you wish.
