I know it is kind of confusing when priests use these new options for the dismissal but really it should be go forth . Saying a prayer to the leader of the angels to stay on the right path is the most perfect way to go forth to begin with as we leave the church.

This make sense of it all. I never felt it was unnecessary just didn’t get why. You have helped it fit my understanding. Thank you for this. ray:t3:
