I recently ordered a mini kinnor, a type of 10 string harp mentioned in the Bible and played by King David. The mini is 16 inches, a full sized one is 27 inches and a lot more expensive. I figure if I can learn on the mini well enough, then I can invest in a full sized kinnor.
Anyway, is there a patron saint of music, especially one specifically for harps, or for Biblical musical instruments?
Anyone here play the kinnor? Any tips on learning it? I tried looking on Google and on YouTube, but didn’t find anything useful. (Some sheet music, one video which says its for the kinnor but uses an incredibly different 10 string harp, that’s about it.)
If I learn it well enough, years down the line, is it approved for use during mass in the United States? I think most non-electric stringed instruments are approved?
