Faithfreedom twists the truth a lot. The guy who runs it is an atheist anyway.
See here.

I reject Islam a) because of Muhammad’s lack of moral and ethical fortitude and b) because of the absurdities in the Quran.
a) Muhammad lived a less than holy life. His lust for sex, his affairs with his maids and slave girls, his pedophilic relationship at age 54 with Aisha, a 9-year-old child, his killing sprees, his massacre and the genocide of the Jews, his slave making and trading, his assassination of his opponents, his raids and lootings of the merchant caravans and unarmed villagers, his burning of trees, his destroying the water wells, his cursing and invoking evil on his enemies, his revenge on his captured prisoners of war, his torturing of his captives to for greed and his hallucinations such as believing of having sex with his wives when he actually did not, disqualify him as a sane person let alone a messenger of God. b) An unbiased study of the Quran shows that far from being a “miracle”, that book is a hoax. The Quran is replete with scientific heresies, historic blunders, mathematical mistakes, logical absurdities, grammatical errors and ethical fallacies. Could possibly the author of this Universe be as ignorant as it appears to be in the Quran? Ali Sina, founder of FFI

At least he believes in the Golden Rule which Muslims do not! 😛

Faith Freedom stands for freedom of faith. We are against Hate, not Faith. We revere human rights not human beliefs. We endeavor to be factually correct, not politically correct.

“Islam is a religion of peace”. This is what our politically correct politicians keep telling us. But what is politically correct is not necessarily correct. The truth is that Islam is not a religion of peace. It is a religion of hate, of terror and of war. A thorough study of the Quran and Hadith reveal an Islam that is not being presented honestly by the Muslim propagandists and is not known to the majority of the people of the world including Muslim themselves. Islam, as it is taught in the Quran (Koran) and lived by Muhammad, as is reported in the Hadith (Biography and sayings of the Prophet) is a religion of Injustice, Intolerance, Cruelty, Absurdities, discrimination, Contradictions, and blind faith. Islam advocates killing the non-Muslims and abuses the human rights of minorities and women. Islam expanded mostly by Jihad (holy war) and forced its way by killing the non-believers. In Islam apostasy is the biggest crime punishable by death. Muhammad was a terrorist himself therefore terrorism cannot be separated from the true Islam. Islam means submission and it demands from its followers to submit their wills and thoughts to Muhammad and his imaginary Allah. Allah is a deity that despises reason, democracy, freedom of thought and freedom of expression. Ali Sina

While I as a Catholic do not subscribe to his atheistic view, I agree with everything else he says.

It’s just a gimmick. Atheists say the same things about bloodthirsty, gay hating, proselytizing Crusader Christians. But if you want to buddy with atheists instead of fellow believers in God go ahead.

Baloney! :rotfl: Believers in a false God who want to kill me! 😃 No thanks!

Has it occurred to you that it was probably Islam that made him an atheist?

Christians that like to stir up hate are as bad as the terrorists, they fall in Satan’s trap of having believers fight each other instead of coming together in common messages of the Bible and Quran, of belief in God and that Jesus is Messiah.

Then when they are both weak enough the atheists will gather what’s left and chop off their heads just like it says in Revelation.

I don’t believe in the Quran or Muhammad and it’s Muslims that are chopping off heads. I hate one thing, EVIL!

Oh please, don’t give me that! Muslims want to eradicate all other religions and forms of governments from the face of the earth!

So did the Church at one time, which you share all the sins of through association.

You guys know that I try to only use impartial sources on my Muslim information, or at least point out if they are slanted one way or another. It is only fair. I do the same with non-Catholic Christian websites. It just seems to me that either the violent stuff is actually in there and is a part of Islam or it is very easy to read it into it. Why? Because not only to the anti-Islam people talk about it, the violent Muslims do as well. I am not saying that all Muslims are violent, or that people are not misreading it. It just seems that for every one verse talking about being peaceful, there are many more talking about war. Thr Koran says no compulsion in religion, then the law based on the Koran calls for the execution of apostates. I am having serious difficulty wrapping my head around that.

I have other issues, too. It seems like I cannot get a clear answer on any of them. Is there a Muslim source or website that I can ask questions without getting kicked off the forum? Or, is it safe to assume that Muslims don’t have answers to all of the questions and I should go about my merry way.

Oh Lord, not another tu quoque! This is getting boring!

Vickie
Why do you keep saying that. I never denied any of that about some Muslims. The beauty is I can say I’m anything because I’m really no religion, I said the other day all of them can go to hell.

But you remain a Catholic and therefore bear the sins of the Church, while I don’t have to bear the sins of any religion.

So I’m not sure I’m the guy to be trying to put in a disadvantageous position because you’ll lose out of the argument in the end.

Oh well, places to go, people to annoy! I just had a glass of wine and am feeling very dippy and giggly. :whacky:

Vickie 😃

Well, I’ll say “Bye” now. Stay tuned for next episode.

Have you done a verse count or are you just going by what you say on anti-Quran websites that of course focus on those types of verses?

No, I have not done a count. I have been told by multiple Muslims that if I cannot read Arabic and think like an Arab, I cannot understand the Koran, so why should I try. I am going by all of the information that I have seen.

For example, this verse was used on a website proposed by Paar when we were discussing Dialog with Muslims.
60:10 Allah only forbids you - respecting those who have fought against you on account of your religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and have helped others in driving you out, that you make friends of them, and whosoever makes friends of them-it is these that are the transgressors.
This seems to counter the teachings of Jesus to fogive those who wrong me and pray for my enemies. This is not off of a biased website, but a Muslim one. Now, please tell me if this verse can fit with Jesus’s teachings?

Well you shouldn’t let anyone tell you what you can read or understand, except maybe God or Jesus, first off.

Quran 60:10 Allah only forbids you - respecting those who have fought against you on account of your religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and have helped others in driving you out, that you make friends of them, and whosoever makes friends of them-it is these that are the transgressors.

That’s different.

Quran 60:10 O ye who believe! When believing women come unto you as fugitives, examine them. Allah is Best Aware of their faith. Then, if ye know them for true believers, send them not back unto the disbelievers. They are not lawful for them (the disbelievers), nor are they (the disbelievers) lawful for them. And give them (the disbelievers) that which they have spent (upon them). And it is no sin for you to marry such women when ye have given them their dues. And hold not to the ties of disbelieving women; and ask for (the return of) that which ye have spent; and let them (the disbelievers) ask for that which they have spent. That is the judgment of Allah. He judgeth between you. Allah is Knower, Wise.

This says accept enemy women if they believe, send them home if not. Don’t see anything wrong with that.

Edit: looks like 60:9.

Love and forgiveness of enemies:

Quran 60:7 It may be that Allah will ordain love between you and those of them with whom ye are at enmity. Allah is Mighty, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Accept enemies who still love God:

Quran 60:8 Allah forbiddeth you not those who warred not against you on account of religion and drove you not out from your homes, that ye should show them kindness and deal justly with them. Lo! Allah loveth the just dealers.

Don’t buddy with enemies who hate God and might turn you against God too:

Quran 60:9 Allah forbiddeth you only those who warred against you on account of religion and have driven you out from your homes and helped to drive you out, that ye make friends of them. Whosoever maketh friends of them - (All) such are wrong-doers.

Nothing wrong with that either.

To the Christians, it’s already cheap shot to say that Paul hijacked Christianity and that he was not an apostle and that he taught differently from what Jesus taught.
True, it is a cheap shot. And blasphemous that the person Jesus picked to teach to the gentiles would not teach things the right way. Jesus would not have picked St. Paul if he was not a good teacher.
Just because you cannot explain Paul’s teaching does not mean that he was not a follower of Jesus. To say that he was not a follower is simply avoiding the issues themselves which is simply cheap shot on the part of participating Muslims here.
Every New Testament author agrees with what St. Paul says.
This thread has gone to umpteen pages, and none of the Muslim posters have been able to point out which Paul’s teaching is not in line with the Gospel. So I don’t think that’s the way to debate.
True.

Well, Paar’s website was wrong. I wonder why he sent me there.
