You know, there were plenty of prophets in the OT, not just the ones giving their names to OT books!

Please just give the list of names from “the blood of Abel the just, even unto the blood of Zacharias the son of Barachias”, if you don’t have then simply state that you don’t have it.No compulsion.

Please just give me the list having the names of all *the prophets *sent by Allah in the Koran, from Adam to Mohammad. If you don’t have such a list, then simply state that you don’t have it. No compulsion.

Excuse me, but the priests and prophets of the one true God who were slain are as important in God’s eyes (even though their names are not mentionned) as those who were named! Some may have played a more important role and some among them are very well-known, but every one of them had an important role in God’s eyes, Paarsurrey. Every one in the people of God is important, even those who were neither ordained priests nor very special prophets. Same with priests and prophets whose names we don’t know!

What makes you think I have the list of all the prophets sent by Allah in the Koran, Paarsurrey? You don’t have to “have” it! Just make that list yourself from the first Surah to the last. Is it that impossible for you to do? Or is it forbidden?
 
As for the prophet Elijah complaining to God, here’s the verse: “Lord God of Armies (God Sabbaoth), I have eagerly served You. The Israelites have abandoned your promises, torn down Your altars, and executed Your prophets. I am the only one left, and they are trying to take my life.” (1 Kings 19, 10, repeated later in verse14) That’s my source. I attempted to tell you from memory, but this is the wording. O.K.?
 
Now that I have learned of the books the Muslims consider sacred, thanks to sister Amy on a thread she started lately, I find it explains a few things. Like why the Muslims on this thread don’t have a full Bible ( full OT and full NT)
 
It’s a pity the book of Job is not part of the sacred books according to the Muslims… Even then, they could have read it. It’s such a pearl in the history of litterature of all times. It’s been commented by so many people in Judaism and in Christianity. Even outside of these 2 faiths there were people who commented on this great book. I suppose no Muslim on earth has ever experience that bad things happens to good, faithful people also! Why should they be afraid of the book of Job? I mean, I’m sure it’s for everybody known and unknown, rich and poor… It’s not even a Christian book! It is part of the Old testament, that’s the Hebrew Bible…
