Can anyone give me the name of a saint that at one time in their life, did not believe in God? Thanks.

St. Edith Stein

I think Dorothy Day was also an atheist at one point. She has not yet been canonized, but her cause for canonization is open, and she has so far been given the title Servant of God.
 
I am sure there were several saints who, after an interval of strong faith, were beset by severe doubt. I don’t have names, though.
 
Some people try to say St Mary Magdeline was some virtuous woman, but I’m pretty sure she definitely was not, and she became a great saint.
 
Thanks for the help everyone. Edith Stein and Dorothy Day are good examples, I think. I will pass on to my teenage daughter who stumped me with this one.
