I have a colleague whose’s 18 y/o daughter is pregnant.

The mother is having a really rough time with as expected.

I am wanting to get the daughter and mom each a saint medallion and card to pray too. They do not need to be same saint.

I have seen St Anne and Gerard. I was wondering what everyone’s recommendations would be or any other thoughts?

St. Anne and St. Gerard are both wonderful picks! The Blessed Mother is always another great one.
 
Your choices are very good! May I also suggest Saint Padre Pio? He’s done a lot of wonderful things through his intercession, and I really like him.
 
I have a St Nicolas prayer card with this prayer on the back:

O God the Father of mankind, who hast given unto me these my children, and committed them to my charge to bring them up for Thee, and to prepare them for eternal life: help me with Thy heavenly grace, that I may be able to fulfil this most sacred duty and stewardship.
