Does anyone have “any” information concerning this Saint? I have been tasked to write an article on this particular Saint and I cannot find any information, anywhere.

go to a catholic book store and ask for any books on him. the last couple of times i went to a catgholic book store in melbourne i saw a book of him. worth a read i reckon

Do you remember the name of the book? I have searched extensively in libraries, museums, on line, and in private collections and found nothing. If you remember the name of the book, that would be very helpful. Thanks.
 
Unfortunately I never heard of him. Was he Portuguese?

Do you have anything else on his background?

All I could think of is perhaps you misheard the name…the title immediately reminded me of Romanos the Melodist. He is basically a patron saint of cantors and choirs well known in Orthodox circles.

Sorry but no. I thought it was ‘Romanos the Melodist’, but the name “Malabar” or “Malavar” indicates India. I wonder if he was one of the Priests who were Martyred in India.
