Hey Ya’ll,

I was wondering if Saint Symeon of Verkhoturye was included in any of the Slavic Catholic Calendars (Ukrainian, Russian, Bulgarian)? Thanks!

I think he was added after the Unions of Brest and Uzhorod. He is not in our Byzantine Menion, rather:

Sep 12 is St. Autonomous
Dec 18 is St. Sebastian and Companions

I read that the Bulgarians came into communion in the 19th century. However, I don’t know if Saint Symeon was ever added to their calendar.

Also, do Russian Catholics use the Ukrainian Calendar?
