January 20 - Saint Sebastian, Martyr (Optional Memorial):

“St. Timothy (d. 97) was the son of a pagan father and a Hebrew-Christian mother, Eunice. He was a disciple of St. Paul and accompanied him on his journeys. St. Paul consecrated him Bishop of Ephesus. According to an ancient tradition, he was stoned to death by a mob when he opposed the observance of a pagan festival. St. Titus, too, was a friend and disciple of St. Paul, who consecrated him Bishop of Crete.
