What saint has changed your life and how did you gain strength from them?
wow, another St. FaustinaI believe St. Faustina has interceded for me and has given me much hope in the mercy of Christ. When I first came back to the faith, St. Paul’s writings really hit home. Tim
I think the Little Flower is an excellent model for most of us.Littleone,
The Little Flower surely shows us how to make God happy in every little we do. It seems to be easy to think of doing little thing, but in fact it is very difficult to accomplish little thing that pleases God. I too praying for her intercession.
Hmmmmm…well, Mother Mary would be my first thought, with St. Francis as #2. Mother Mary for kicking me in the rear and towards RCIA, and St. Francis for bringing cats into my life as a way of healing after a life-altering surgery. I also wear the Cord Of St. Philomena. Hard to say at this time who is changing what and what strength I am getting from whom. What saint has changed your life and how did you gain strength from them?

Another WOWwow, another St. Faustina
- St. Faustina: When I was starting to grow spirtiually a bit, I got all so confused and when praying and reading her diary, I got so much out of it - especially how should one be obedient to his superior, offering suffering to God, and asking/praying for a good spiritual director.
Yes me to but I found that each one of the saints has a different stance. For instance St Gemma was so young when she died yet she let go of this life so easily in taking the abuse and violence. Also St Bernadette was like a person who was only spirit in that she seemed not to understand how to live as a person of this world at all. She only seemed to know Jesus Mary and Joseph, and was full of the spirit of God. If I was ever to say a person was full of grace (other than Mary) it would be these saints. I don’t use the words like piety or others I don’t understand, but love, grace, peace, yes.Another WOW.
Also St. Teresa of Avila. They were chosen by God to help me to understand Divine Mercy and its depths. I love them both.
OH Lord it is through YOUR wounds that we are heald. May your spirit be ever in our sister and her family, fill her oh Lord with the Joy of your Fatherly love. May she know the beauty of this truth, that the little flower was not a little flower at all but the biggest in the garden showering our sister with 24 roses to tell her that her prayer has always been heard, showing her that Jesus love for she and her family can never be out done.My children and I had been praying for years to have their father agree to having one more child. On my eleventh wedding anniversary, my husband agreed to having one more child. I was so thrilled. One month later, I was pregnant with my daughter. We gave her to our children as their Christmas gift. The doctors gave us ultrasound pictures to put in Christmas cards for the kids. I delivered her on Mother’s Day. She was born dead 31 weeks after conception. We had decided to name her Theresa Little Flower and we gave her to our Heavenly Mother for Mother’s Day. On that Day my Six year old son begged my non-catholic Mother-in-law to purchase me 24 red roses.
I have a thorn that causes much pain to me and that is, that my wife smokes heavily. To me that is money that could be used on accounts ( that she accumlicated before marrage). I don’t like the smell of smoke and although there is no smoking inside the house or in the cars the situation is not easy. Well i know that Jesus has given me this thorne and I look at the situation the same way as St Therese did with the Nun’s rattling their beeds, their splashing the soap sudds over her.Littleone,

It seems to be easy to think of doing little thing, but in fact it is very difficult to accomplish little thing that pleases God. I too praying for her intercession. A friend of mine has been praying to her for her intercession, and one night out of nowhere there was a long stem rose in front of his house’s door. For me, I haven’t received a real one, but in my dream, I smelled rose’s fragment so strong.
