I have been going through a rough patch, and am putting together a personal litany.

Please fill in the blanks with as many saints as apply:

In General: Mary

To overcome Doubts:

To overcome Gluttony:

To overcome Laziness:

To overcome Arrogance:

To overcome Pharisee Effect(Holier than thou):

To do well in school:

To do well on my instrument:

To be pure in my thoughts, actions, and words:

For patience:

For obedience:

To be a good faith witness:

To love all:

To accept pain and mortification for God’s greater glory:

Dear Upgrade,

It will be a wonderful exercise for you to search through the saints and create this litany. They lived on earth once and now live in heaven. Get to know them, pray for their intercession for your needs. Pray your litany, may you be blessed by this process.
 
In General: Mary

To overcome Doubts: St Thomas the Apostle ("Doubting Thomas)

To overcome Gluttony: [St Alexandrina](St Alexandrina) who ate nothing bar the Eucharist

To overcome Laziness: St Paul - all the missionary journeys he went on, certainly not lazy!

To overcome Arrogance: St Francis Assisi - renowned for humility

To overcome Pharisee Effect(Holier than thou): St Nicodemus - a good Pharisee

To do well in school: St Thomas Aquinas - renowned academic (especially tomorrow on his feast day)

To do well on my instrument: How about King David from the Old Testament - composer of many of the Psalms.

To be pure in my thoughts, actions, and words: Certainly Mary

For patience:

For obedience:

To be a good faith witness: St Peter. He failed at this, but he realised his mistake.

To love all:

To accept pain and mortification for God’s greater glory:
