Are there any saints who are only Eastern Catholic, and not a saint from the Orthodox Church who Eastern Catholics venerate as well?

There is a number from the UGCC. I doubt the Orthodox will be venerating St. Josaphat anytime soon.

Blessed Vasyl Velychkovsky, don’t know if he counts or not.

Yes, there are.

I’m no expert, so I don’t know very many, but St. Josaphat (a Ukrainian Greek Catholic bishop) seems like the most famous one to me.

Here’s a list to get you started (Eastern Catholic Saints of different traditions): Blessed Leonid Feodorov, St. Josaphat, Blessed Nicholas Charnetsky, Servant of God Geevarghese Mar Ivanios,Blessed Basil Hopko, Blessed Paul Gojdich, OSBM, Blessed Theodore Romzha, Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky, Blessed Ivan Ziatyk, Saint Charbel

The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church has a LOT of martyrs for unity with the Pope of Rome (mostly at the hands of the Bolsheviks), this is one of the reasons why the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church has always been and always will be my favorite Eastern Catholic Church.

catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=7029 - on St.Alphonsa of The Immaculate Conception , the first canonised saint of SyroMalabar Church , a patroness of students , those afflicted by foot ailments ,for help with marriages and for those afflicted by mental illness ; she had many sufferings during her earthly life , possibly used them well , repenting for , asking for mercy and grace of repentance for all who might have contributed to same, one way or other and recognising the power of such prayers offered in union with that of The Lord’s sufferings , lived a joy filled life !

Metropolitan Sheptytsky isn’t beatified yet. But he is already honored in many ways by the UGCC. The Institute of the UGCC for North America for Eastern Christian Studies bear his name.

We commemorate him on his Feast Day in our parish.
It’s a sorry history with people hurt all around. Many of us are very close to the OCA.
Sorry – this is a bit over the line – as it would be for Orthodox to celebrate Josephat. It reminds me of the time I walked into a Melkite church at one of our conventions and saw the icons of Photios the Great, Markos Evgenikos, and [forgot the third] inside the narthex doors. The two, OK. But Mark Evgenikos? C’mon! There will be a time when Josephat and Evgenikos will be celebrated by all with all the saints. But we also have to be willing to bow to the sensus fideli and to humbly await that moment. Oh, now I remember the third: Gregorios Palamas. His veneration, along with Photios, is appropriate because of the sensus fideli in his regard…

And are there Chaldean Catholic saints among them?
To be honest, I don’t think there have been any venerable, or beatified, or canonized Chaldean/Assyrian Saints since union with Rome. We do have Saints from before then from the Church of the East, some of which are listed on Kaldu.org.

Our church is known as the Church of Martyrs, with martyrdom recurring too often in our history, especially recently. Personally, I feel that the many martyrs of our church are quite venerable in their own right. May their prayers help our struggling church survive against Islamic aggression.

-God Bless

I would be surprised if modern martyrs like Abp. Rahho and Fr. Ghanni were not venerated by the Chaldean and other Catholic people of Iraq.

Yes, and we might also mention the innocents who were murdered at Sayidat al-Najat in Bahgdad simply because they were at Mass. Sounds like martyrdom to me. 😉
