Interesting, I’m an INFP, so it’s cool to see who I might be similar to personality wise. 🙂

I think I am INFP too but I’m not real familiar with all the saints. So I asked:D

I’m an INFP as well 🙂 St. Augustine is always on the list. These aren’t saints and CS Lewis is Anglican, but he’s an INFP and so is JRR Tolkien.

Yeah, I do like CS Lewis as a writer but admittedly I haven’t read much Tolkien. I need to read up on St. Augustine because philosophy is interesting to me.

What about St. Augustine do you think makes him INFP particularly? I know it’s partially from him being a philosopher but what about his other personality traits?

Oh wow. I’m an INFP - very cool to learn that St. Augustine, Tolkien and Lewis were also.

Try St. Thomas More. As a lawyer, he always tried to settle cases by mediation rather than going to court. See William Roper’s Life of Sir Thomas More. Roper was St. Thomas’ son in law and loved in the More household for years.

St. Ignatius of Loyola and Pope Pius XII would also fit the mold.

Very interesting. I didn’t expect a lawyer saint would have that personality type.

Also need to check out Ignatious and Pius so thanks for the ideas.

What saints would you consider have a more shy/quiet disposition?

St. Augustine is on list of being INFP on a website that does Myers Briggs tests.

I’ve also read somewhere that St. Francis of Assisi was probably an INFP.

Yeah I saw that. I also found it interesting that I saw Edgar Allen Poe, George Orwell, and CS Lewis on that list. Those are some of my favorite authors to read from which adds credit that I am INFP also 😛

I have been sort of obsessed in this stuff lately since it’s helping me learn more about myself and my family, which has been sort of tough to talk with on some subjects lately. I just learned my father might be ISTJ-A which might explain some of our conflicts.
