For me lately it’s really been St Anthony of Padua, so much so that I’m planning on picking up a bio of him on my next trip to the library.

Mine is St. Francis of Assisi. I pray to him to help me see Jesus in everyone & everything.

Has to be St. Anthony for me. I am forever losing something and need his intervention.

St. Therese of Lisieux, St. Scholastica, St. Bernadette, St. Faustina, St. Anne, and St. Margaret of Antioch. I ask for the intercession of all of these saints to help me discern my vocation, and for my conversion, and they have always helped me. 🙂 And St. Anthony of Padua. No matter what I lose and when I lose it, he always helps me find it! 😉

Mainly the Blessed Mother but my list looks like some of the above, depending on the situation and person I am praying for. But recently I added St. Jude. I know of him and I have seen so many prayer cards on him but I had never said a prayer to him that I can ever remember until a couple months ago. Early in 2013, my son had anuriusm surgery that lasted 9 1/2 hours, and his Dr. told him he is only the 3rd person that he has known to ever survive this type of anuriusm. When he was able to go back to work, he hurt his back and had trouble with it for months. It got soo bad they finally decided he needed surgery but they didn’t schedule it for 3 months… He was in such unbelievable pain and on such strong pain pills, I was very worried about him. Then this young couple (John Paul and Annie) started a Novena to St Jude and I did it for my son. The day after it ended on the feast of St. Jude, I was at morning Mass and I asked St. Jude if there was any way he could help get my son’s surgery moved up. I came home and about an hour later, my son called and said, “Mom the Dr. just called and said they moved my surgery up to day after tomorrow.” I was overwhelmed at how fast St. Jude answered my prayer. He is doing well and I am soooo thankful to St. Jude and so is he. God Bless, Memaw
