Saints

Is anyone aware of a site that has a different Saint everyday? I tried to look in a store for a Saint of the Day kind of book or calendar but I couldn’t find one.

Actually right on the USCCB (the bishops) web site, scroll down the left, and they have a link to “saint of the day”.

www.americancatholic.com also has a saint a day and a directory of saints
they now have a feature where you can register and get a free daily email for the saint of the day.

American Catholic is a little problematic according to watchdog sites like Petersnet; there are a few links there that espouse some rather ‘peculiar’ things that may be all right in and of themselves but may very easily be misunderstood by the ordinary person (examples being things like ‘centered prayer’–which is absolutely fine when done in the Catholic Tradition of St. John of the Cross, but is often presented as being analogous to eastern oriental ‘meditation’ or other practices which have a nonCatholic origin or presentation).

So I wouldn’t recommend American Catholic as a place to go the way that I would unhesitatingly recommend, oh, Catholic Answers!
