You’re the ones that have been doing all the alterations and perversions of our Scriptures! There’s more truth in one paragraph of our Bible than in the whole of the Qur’an!

This is one of them . We dont hold prophets of God as people who can make sins that can mislead their nations with false practicing of Faith. If it was really false , where in the bible did God ban it ? why didnt he Ban marrying more than one? why are these people bieng so centric in the bible then ?

We dont agree on teh story above because we know its a slander on David. The Jews slanderred alot including Mary the Virgin accused her of Sin. Its not really abnormal it was common . They even Killed prophets for Gods sake!!! The bible has some of whats left from the word Of God , but many add ins and outs by humans.

Physical harm depends on which place you live in . If you live in a metropolitan city then no you wouldnt , if you go into a close midned ignorant uneducated socviety then yes . Any way here we have the coptic church taking care of any convert to Islam . They "Counsell " them in private lol. I have read many stories and it is really revealing the hypocracy abot their persecution.

Well sure , if he aids the Pagans with money and weaponry to slay the muslims then we are in a state at war with him so he deserves to be killed.

Just in case you dont knwo anything about Islam . Muslims were always thretened with extermination and this man was one of their stanchest enemies of Islam and aided Pagans idol worshippers with Money and weaponry.

meedo, this is really a critical issue. Christians see the imperfections of God’s prophets as an even greater sign of God’s power. We see such stories as immensely hopeful as they demonstrate that God’s Grace is ever so much greater than our own weakness. Ancient Jews often did indeed slander and disdain the prophets of their OWN times. That’s typical since prophets often have the nasty habit of saying truths we’d rather not hear. Thus human nature explains it nicely. But this does not explain why the Jews would seek to defame the name of their greatest of Kings. David, the man after God’s own heart. He is honored and treasured by every Christian and Jew. He poses no threat of pointing out the sins in our current lives. Therefore, why would we seek to slander the name of one of our own heros? It makes no sense. Truth is the only plausible explanation.

Jacob, David, Peter, John Paul II. Imperfect men, prone to individual weakness, sin and personal moral failures. And yet each through the Grace of God is able to proclaim the truth that sets us free with power and authority. Not because they earned it by conquering sin themselves. But because they humbly accepted that God was greater than their own weaknesses.

That’s why we honor all these great men of God.

You know, the more I read this post and the link, I get more confused. You’re claiming that Jews distorted the lives of their prophets and messengers? Why would they slander their own people?

Are you saying that these people were all sinless and the Jews claimed they had committed terrible crimes? They were not sinless so what’s the point?? A good person can go bad, and a bad person can reform. What’s the deal? It just doesn’t make any sense at all!

Is this is the reason you say our scriptures are corrupted?

I never fail to be amazed that muslims will claim that mohummad is the best of creation, when this man was so filled with lust, that he engaged in sexual intercourse with safiyah, a jewess, after he killed her husband and father.

Muslims will say, she was grateful to be bestowed the favour of having to bed the prophet

good question. why don’t you ask them yourself? after all, your own scriptures tell of the same sort of treachery and dispicable behaviour from the jews, and even worse than that… or did you forget that your gospels blame them for killing their prophets as well (i.e., john the baptist and jesus the messiah)?

btw, some of these figures being slandered and lied about are not just mere people… they were Allah’s chosen prophets and messengers - people who were chosen due to their impecable character and purity of heart. Allah does not bestow prophethood upon those who would commit such heinous crimes purposely with clear intent.

that’s really quite funny coming from someone whose own scriptures explicitly blames them for killing their god and whose religious authority had to issue an apology for their actions - or lack of - during the holocaust.
