I never donate to the Salvation Army. It is a religion in the disguise of a social service organization. They do charitable work, but they are a Protestant denomination founded by William Booth in 1865 in London.

I used to donate to the Salvation Army, but heard last year that their national organization gives to Planned Parenthood, so I stopped.

So now give to the local food bank and some Catholic organizations.
