Was St. Paul unsure of his own salvation? I’ve heard differing views on this.

How about 1 Cor 4:3-5? I got this from Alan Schreck’s “Catholic and Christian.” Hey, I don’t know too much about this material.St. Paul taught us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling(Phil2:12 )
He worked out his salvation . He also prayed for a Christian friend of his Onesiphorus in 2nd Timothy chapter 1 who had already died .
What does he say in his own epistles? It is clear that he was concerned “that after saving others I may not loose the prize.”Was St. Paul unsure of his own salvation? I’ve heard differing views on this.

Thanks. That scripture seems to be a poignant one.
For those looking for the verse, it’s 1 Cor 9:27. If nothing else, it certainly shows that Paul realized it was possible for him to fall and lose his salvation.
Here’s the RSV translation of the passage:
1 Cor 9:24-27 Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. Well, I do not run aimlessly, I do not box as one beating the air; but I pommel my body and subdue it,** lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.**
