If you’re going to use facts and figures to reinforce an argument, it is not “mundane” that your opposition would want to check those out for themselves. Please do not trouble me with this any further. It is rather mundane.
Of course we all may have struggles from time to time. Such is our sin of selfishness. But I’m not sure you understand how “Catholic” works. The Church determines doctrine. Not you and me. If we disagree, that makes us objectively wrong, at least from a Catholic perspective.Of course, not all Catholics are going to believe in all the Churches teachings. One would have to be a complete idiot to think otherwise.
The NT came from the apostles who were instructed by Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit in the discharge of their holy duty. They appointed bishops to carry on the same mission. The entire Bible came through personal revelations.
At least from “your” Catholic perspective. I’m a baptized Catholic. And just because I do not agree with all the Church teachings, it doesn’t make me any less of a Catholic. And if it does, then so be it. At least I know that I am right by God.Of course we all may have struggles from time to time. Such is our sin of selfishness. You needn’t rely on my personal revelation. It is in the bible. Atonement for sins is in scripture. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that atonement is limited to the faithful dead. Jesus still holds the keys to death and Hades. Or, do you believe that He has lost them? Atonement can be made for the dead in Hades. It is quite simple. We needn’t complicate it.As a last:

You are not an apostle. You are also not a bishop. I’m not either. As such, your (and my) “personal revelation” carries no weight in the revelation of God’s truth. If what we think conflicts with the sacred institution Christ created to administer the truth, then we are champions of error.
Actually, yes it does.At least from “your” Catholic perspective. I’m a baptized Catholic. And just because I do not agree with all the Church teachings, it doesn’t make me any less of a Catholic.
If you willfully place yourself outside the confines of Christ’s Church, you imperil yourself as there is no expectation of salvation outside the Church. And if it does, then so be it. At least I know that I am right by God.
The soul in hell is a soul beyond reach. Sounds simple to me.Atonement can be made for the dead in Hades. It is quite simple. We needn’t complicate it.
I’d rather be right with God, than wrong with the Church.Actually, yes it does.
You are barking up the wrong tree. Jesus already told me that I would be with my mom in heaven. If you willfully place yourself outside the confines of Christ’s Church, you imperil yourself as there is no expectation of salvation outside the Church.
The meaning of the word “eternal” is debatable. The soul in hell is a soul beyond reach. Sounds simple to me.
Matthew 25:46 “They will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life”.
The battle cry of literally every heretic in history…I’d rather be right with God, than wrong with the Church.
sighThe meaning of the word “eternal” is debatable.
I stand for what I know to be. I’m not a gullible one.The battle cry of literally every heretic in history…
