Same-Gender Skinny-Dipping?

A family tradition is for a bunch of brothers, their sons and other male cousins to spend a week at a fishing lodge in Maine. I won’t pretend it’s a sodality meeting, but the “male humor” is fairly tame and it’s not a week of drunken loutishness. Skinny-dipping is part of the tradition, as well as a a general lack of modesty generally associated with locker rooms. Any moral issues here?

I have no idea, but it’s probably bad if there are other families/people outside of your group near by who could see you.

Overall, I don’t see a problem with it. If one of them struggles with same sex attraction it would be best for that person to avert his eyes as much as possible.

Interesting question…I don’t think it is a sinful thing to do, but I do think it is immodest. Modesty goes both ways, but most people only assume that women need to be modest. Men need to remember to have a touch of modesty about themselves as well. Just an opinion.

I think it would be fairer to wear trunks for that person’s sake - even if there’s no SSA at all, I concur with what Jay wrote: modesty works both ways, so it would be good to encourage swimming trunks.
