Do you think my church’s sanctuary is decent ? Please no rude comments just a yes or a no and why.

The picture is kinda small, but from what I can tell, it looks OK.
 
kinda hard to tell as the photo is small. Can you tell me what I’m looking at? I mean, the crucifix is obvious enough, but everything else is a bit of a blur.
 
The photo is way small. I’m presuming that’s the Tabernacle underneath the crucifix - major 👍 for it being front and centre as it should be.

Good to see some statues there, and a prominent crucifix. Overall looks to be a good effort :cool:
 
Pics small. Did you take it with your camera phone?

But for a small church, the sanctuary is decent. I would love to see a full picture of the entire sanctuary. That may give some more information.

yup, I’m sure there’s a hidden agenda here. I smell something fishy.
 
Tabernacle, Crucifix and Altar - check.
Ambo on the left, Lectern on the right - check.
Elevated from the Nave - check.
Looks like you’re good to go.

I’m looking to the lower right of the picture, inbetween the statues - the brown rectangular thing with the cross on it - took it to be a lecturn set in the back of the Sanctuary.

Is it just me, or does this look like a shot of a model, like a doll house?
 
Like others I’m afraid it’s a loaded question, but I’ll put in my 2 cents because fools rush in…

If money and resources were available, I’d place the statues on the wall on seperate shelves/pedestals, and space them farther apart. Maybe hang lamps between them, or place wall sconces to hold candles.

If you could post a larger picture that would be helpful.
 
So far as I can tell from the picture, it’s in accordance with the GIRM.

Whether or not it’s “decent” is a matter of taste and preference.
 
It’s quite decent.

I like the solid ambo and altar, as well as the artistic continuity between the two (the Pentecost scene on the ambo, the Last Supper scene on the altar). The Latin inscription (“Qui manducat … vitam aeternam”) on the altar is nice. The statuary, crucifix, and tabernacle are splendid. The celebrant’s chair is distinct from the others, and has a beautiful decoration. There’s room on either side of the altar, I think, so that Mass can be celebrated ad orientem.

The lopsided decoration of the altar is odd (one flower vase on the left side). The microphone sticking out (?) of the altar (if I’m seeing it correctly) is also a bit gauche. Those candle-holders are neat-looking, but I bet there are only two of them, which means there’ll never be more than those two candles… and ideally, more festive Masses should have four or six candles.

All in all, I like it a lot. With the exception of the candles, there’s nothing that can’t be easily/instantly improved.

During ordinary time we only use two candles but during Easter , Lent , and Advent we use four. I have always wondered why there is only one vase too…
 
it still bothers me that it appears to be in a corner. Not that I know of anything against that, it just seems weird to me

But I am also curious, who are those statues of? Are they saints of some significance for your Parish/Diocese/General Area?

Would you mind re-phrasing the question please, so that posters here have a better understanding of what you’re asking? Do you mean “decent” as opposed to “indecent”? Are you asking if it should be renovated? Are you asking if it’s a licit arangement? The question is a little too broad. I’m sure there are a lot of good people here who would offer respectful opinions if they could understand what you’re getting-at.
