Where does she describe herself as a ‘professional pro-abortion activist’?

Rush tells us Ms. Fluke did not testify at any congressional hearing as the media keep writing false information.
The Democrats played games with us the day before [the hearing]," says a Republican committee source. “After days of asking for a witness, they waited until the last minute, the afternoon before the hearing. They asked us to invite Rev. Barry Lynn [head of Americans United for Separation of Church and State] and Ms. Fluke. We said we’ll invite one, per standard procedure. We formally invited Rev. Lynn, and the Democrats, at 4:30 pm, changed their mind and said they wanted Fluke. We said too late. They told Rev. Lynn not to show up the next day.”,
Issa explained that Democrats had requested Barry Lynn, that Lynn was invited, and that Democrats then retracted the Lynn request. As for Fluke, Issa said Republicans had never heard of the Democrats’ last-minute choice. “I asked our staff what is her background, what has she done,” Issa said at the hearing. “They did the usual that we do when we’re not provided the three days and the forms to go with it. They did a Google search. They looked and found that she was, in fact, and is a college student who appears to have become energized over this issue and participated in approximately a 45-minute press conference…I cannot and will not arbitrarily take a majority or minority witness if they do not have the appropriate credentials, both for a hearing at the full committee of the U.S. House of Representatives and if we cannot vet them in a timely fashion.” (Fluke is in fact a 30 year-old law student with an extensive history of activism in leftist causes.)
“All of you, even the minority members who walked out of the hearing before Dr. Laura Champion and Dr. Allison Garrett testified, knew very well that the rhetorical question, ‘Where are the women?’ and the claim that the hearing was somehow an assault on women was disingenuous and inflammatory,” Issa wrote

The testimony she ended up giving at a Democrats-only meeting a few days later - --------------repeat a meeting that was made to look like a congressional hearing --------Huh talk about phoney baloney

Regardless of who she is or where she comes from, this actually starts to make sense now. Had she been a witness, a double digit IQ cross examination would have destroyed her credibility.

Cross Examiner: "Ms. Fluke, what does Georgetown tuition cost on an annual basis?

Fluke: "Approximately $30,000 (I’m guessing, probably more)

CE: “And are there or are there not any drug stores or gas stations within walking distance of that campus?”

F: There are.

CE: How much does a box of condoms cost at one of those locations?

F: $4.50

CE: To the best of your knowledge, among these potential contraceptives, IUD, diaphragm, pill and condom, which ones provide protection against STDs as well as prevent pregnancy?

F: Condoms only

CE: So putting aside any morality and behavioral questions here, your testimony is that you need to have a $3,000 a year expense added to the cost of insurance premium payers to provide you with pharmaceutical contraception, but by your own testimony you have available to you other effective means of achieving that goal with the additional benefits of reducing your chance of contracting an STD AND the cost of said alternative is pocket change. Thank you, no further questions.

The label for this woman is not “prostitute” it is “freeloader.”

The average starting salary for a Georgetown Law grad is $160K per year. These poor victims are in the 1%. Will they still need free contraception from the HHS mandate post graduation?

I am frankly disturbed that any fair minded person could quote Russ Limbaugh as a source on anything. He is definitely not someone you look to for an unbiased opinion. I am not commenting on Ms. Fluke here…just on the fact that it totally blows my mind that Limbaugh’ name would come up in any kind of serious discussion… I would not believe him if he yelled “fire” in a crowded building. We have sunk really low in this country when commentators on either side are taken as anything but entertainers. We have given them the power to shape opinion and critical thinking. I think Limbaugh, Fox, MSNBC and all of the stations with any agenda are the reason there is so much anger in the public discourse. It would be better if we turned them all off and get back to making decisions based on fact, not innuendo and half truths.

I was simply saying that I heard it on his show but the article that I posted was one that I looked up to confirm that he was indeed telling the truth. Gessssh!

(Sandra Fluke did not testify anywhere. It was a press conference set up by Nancy Pelosi and I bet very few of us in the U.S. could ever even get to meet Nancy Pelosi never mind get this kind of attention - that is simply the point I was tring to make. )

I’m sorry if I offended you. That was not my intent. I am glad you checked out his comments before hand. God bless.
