SANTA ROSA, California, JULY 1, 2011 (Zenit.org).- Bishop Robert Vasa has succeeded Bishop Daniel Walsh in leading the Diocese of Santa Rosa, California.
The diocese had been hit with several sex abuse lawsuits, and Bisohp Vasa had been accused of delaying reporting certain cases to allow the accused time to flee the country.
