Satan and 1/3 of the angels

I’ve maybe heard something along those lines a long time ago. But i don’t think i’ve heard idea that man would be higher then the angels and the devil became envious of this. Is there anything in scripture that would confirm this?

from a book on Angels i have-

Following scriptural teachings ,the spiritual life appears as an imitation of the life of angels and a participation in their life.It re-introduces the soul into the angelic creation.
But the fact remains that the ascension of the soul leads it even higher than the angels.

The Christian mystery is the exaltation of humanity above the sphere of the angels.This mystery,which is true first of all of Christ himself,is true of the whole of human nature,which he leads along with Him as a retinue.

Jesus ascended to heaven as fully man also,raising humanity into the heavens.
I used to hear at some Orthodox bible classes that even the good angels are jealous of humanity(in a good way) because humans can recieve Christ/God in their souls through Holy communion whereas the angels dont take Holy Communion.

When satan sees men achieving holiness or being raised to the heights of heaven and living in paradise as he once was ,he cant help being enraged and full of evil jealousy because now he has lost that paradise and so he tries to drag us down and away from that paradise into hell with him.
