satan worshippers!

Frankly, in my mind, satan worshipers are like members of the flat earth society. They are irrelevant and silly. Sorry if that is your religion, but it’s a mighty potty one (in my uninformed opinion).
Coming from an Episcopalian that’s pretty funny.

An very wrong. They attack protestants by destroying bibles, Buddhist by destroying Buddha statues and honoring Maya. Jews by doing rituals to Hitler and painting swastikas on Synagogues. The list goes on. Catholics that are told this just refuse to acknowledge it, after all it be one less argument in there favor.

Also most of the wafers are taken from Anglican and Lutheran services or order from supply houses. There only said to be consecrated.
Why would they destroy statues of Buddha? They are supposed to be honored and revered.

Oh well, I’ve heard of a Zen fable of a monk who ran out of fire wood at the monastery. Apparently, he simply started taking all of the wooden Buddha statues and throwing them into big fire clusters to keep the monks warm throughout the winter. 😛

I’m not joking about it. I typically do crack the Host against the roof of my mouth with my tongue and then begin chewing. HOWEVER, just to see if this type of wafer will disolve (because, the ones that are at the EF Mass do pretty much disolve on contact), I will hold it on my tongue just to see if it is true. If it is, I will totally come back on this thread and apologize to you and let you know.
Okay, understand that the wafer the priest uses is the size of a softball and he breaks that into pieces, so, it’s not the individual white wafers that have the texture of styrophoam. It’s brown with brown specks.

That being said, I did hold it on my tongue and it did take a while, but, it did begin to desolve, so, my apologies.

That being said, it did take a while. If one keeps one’s tongue dry and inconspicuously removes this kind of Host, it can be done with minimal mess, if any, BUT, again, you were right, gurneyhalleck1, and, eventually, it does disolve.

Some good points derived from logic we’re posted here. Although some we’re based on feelings and emotions. Let us forget about opinions and just look at the the cold hard data. Please click below for basic understanding of satan worshipers, and how they directly mock the first and oldest church founded by Christ… Even down to the ancient latin rite!!!..en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_mass
God bless!!

I never said it completely dissolves. Of course it takes a bit of chewing…very very little chewing. It starts dissolving a big on the tongue inside your mouth. Of course if some Satanic schlameel wants to walk in and take it into his mouth and then pull it out in a dissolving, melty mess, he could do it. But I’m simply saying, isn’t it more awkward to steal it from your mouth once you’ve taken it in than to merely grab it in the hand when you go up for Communion? Isn’t this a no-brainer which one is easier and which one has more mess and inconvenience? That’s all I’m saying.
Again, I do not know where you get your hosts. But if I do not chew immediately the host is just about the same as it was when I get back to the pew, no “melty mess” in any way.

I also asked you the question of what the satanists did before communion in hand as you seem to think that removing this will stop any desecration, so you seem to be an expert on it now.

I highly believe that this is not the big issue that people make it out to be. If people wish to desecrate the Body of Christ they will find a way no matter how communion is received.

Also I have yet to see anyone go up to receive the Eucharist “grab it in the hand”. They are given it in the palm of their hand.

Can we kindly move on from this Eucharist melting and dissolving discussion. I wish to God I had never made the comment. I simply was saying, for the last time, that it is more difficult to take the Host into one’s mouth and then remove it than to take in the hand dry and in tact and steal it for the purpose of desecration. Is this not true? Common sense. In the mouth it would degrade SOME, yes? In the hand having never entered the mouth it is 100% in tact, solid, dry, and easy to steal. That’s all I said.

I never intended for there to be lab tests done, thought this weekend put into it, or a deep meditation here. I just meant to say that communion in the hand makes desecration/theft easier. I never said it made it IMPOSSIBLE. Please, let’s move on!

Byz, you’re really splitting hairs, brother. Grab it, palm it, who cares?? They’re taking it into their hand one way or another? I don’t care if they’re wearing gloves, bare hand, prosthetic hand, missing two fingers, grab it at a 45 degree angle, or otherwise, point is—they’re taking into their hand rather than putting it on the tongue. That’s all. This is being over-analyzed.

Aww! Thanks. Pope John Paul the Great was an influence in the developing of my character.

An interesting thread, but I think that Satan (and Satanists) are probably overjoyed at the arguments that go on between Christians as evidenced in this thread. When we bash one another or one another’s practices or when we argue about how long it takes for the Host to dissolve, our focus is removed from our Lord and Savior and directed toward other things. What more could Satan want?

I’m having trouble taking the advice of anyone with “snot” in their name! 😛 I’m just kiddin’ ya. Actually I think caution and awareness is more important than fear. We should fear losing God more than Satan. Being aware of how Satan is trying to use us, work through us, corrupt us, and guide as toward sin is what I recommend. If fearing him helps keep a person aware and cautious, then go for it…
satan is real…be afraid…be very afraid.

I tend to agree with you. Sometimes reading some of the threads with fellow Christians arguing with one another reminds me of a family arguing about the best way to extinguish flames as they stand in the middle of a house that is burning down around them.

You only have 39 posts, mellow. You need to develop a thicker skin in CAF lol…it’s a jungle in here! ahhhh! 😛

actually, most satanists are actually atheist, but what they did is an insult to Jesus’s sacrafice:mad:

The LeVayan form of Satanism, which is more common, is really atheism on steroids with some goat horns and pentagrams thrown in for good measure. Cheesy.
