Some things cannot be ignored. This is one of them. It is no surprise that such events occur, but it seems to me that to ignore publicly announced desecration and mockery of our Catholic Faith would be grave negligence. That is why the bishops in these cases have called for a Holy Hour of Reparation and even threatened a lawsuit if the Sacred Host was not returned.

Truly, I don’t care what they do.

Not long ago I was in the Communion line when our priest stopped a couple young guys who had just received in the hand and started to walk away without putting it in their mouths. A few minutes later he smirked and shook his head.

If Satanists are trying to steal consecrated hosts, isn’t that an admittance that they believe it is the body & blood of Christ?

Either that or they are trying to slap the face of every Catholic who believes in the Eucharist.

I personally think it’s for the shock value.

If someone actually believes the Christian Satan is real, then they must actually believe that Jesus is real.

It just goes without saying, you can’t have one without the other.

What we can do is allow the Lord to sanctify us with all the means He gave us to do so.

This isn’t actually correct. The black mass involves theft, sexual encounters,etc. It breaks several laws. Especially if done in a public venue

I feel like we should be able to claim some copy right infringement also, seeing as the black mass inverts the Catholic liturgy. I mean, as a student you are constantly being warned that evening thinking someone else’s thoughts is plagiarism. How is stealing our words and changing who they are directed to not?
