There was a song by a Christian artist popular some years ago that said something like that…his wish would be to set up a shop right outside the gates of hell itself. Your comment brought that to mind…I think it was Steve Camp…not sure.

Well Mike…welcome to the real world. I guess you never quite understood what “gothic” was/is all about. Most just dress the part, but it actually has roots in satanic or dark worship…

Many hard rock groups in our history, including recently, are known for sensationalizing satan worship. Narvana is one, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, etc. There are probably many more that I do not know about. The sad part is I listened to all of their music in my youth but after a 20/20 special I broke all of my CD’s other than my country and western music and pop stuff… Yest I have a wide palette of choice music…expecially Classic and Gregrorian Chant. My son just realized this this week after my wife and I showed him a Narvan video clip and pointed out that he killed himself with a gun. We read a brief biography about the guy. Cheer up. Satan and his demons are afraid of the Baptised saints of God. He has no power over us… But I would be more concerned for their souls and then property value.

To a certain extant, all truly evil people are by their nature, a little or a lot satanic…right.

I think that most neo-pagans are not satanists but rather follow a romanticised reproduction of ancient religions such as Druidism. Since there are no more Druids left and they did not leave anything in writing, most of what they do is made up. Stuff like this Church of the Ancient Ways.

I read somewhere that worship of the ancient Greek and Roman pantheon is re-emerging as well. The flame for the Olympic torch is lit following an ancient Greek ritual commemorating the Prometheus’s theft of fire from Zeus. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to hear of a revival of the Norse pantheon, too.

Satanists, on the other hand, worship the Devil, more fools they. I’ve read that they are becoming a big problem in Italy, so much so that the Vatican has beefed up its seminary courses on exorcism and against satanism and increased security on churches to protect the Blessed Sacrament from desecration in Black Mass rituals.

Hopefully living next to a non-violent Christian who will respect them and their choices…though misguided, may change their minds concerning what Christianity is…“love covers a multitude of sins”…“behold what love the Father has bestowed upon us, while we were YET SINNERS…”…hopefully they would be brought to the Light…if not…the Light would be a present constant “reminder” that the “god” they reject…I reject too.
