Saturday Mass and Confession

I’ve been trying to beat a habitual sin/addiction by frequenting confession each week. The only time I’m able to go to confession at my parish is Saturdays at 3:00. I like to attend Mass after confession, but the only Mass that day is the vigil for Sunday. I understand that doing so would fulfil my Sunday obligation, but I wonder if it’s a problem to attend Saturday vigil without a good reason to miss Sunday Mass?

No, not a problem at all. The law says we may fulfill the obligation on Sunday or on Saturday evening. Full stop. It does not require any reason for opting for Saturday over Sunday.
