Saturday Mass (In lieu of missing Sunday)

I had asked this a few days ago, and somehow this
fell through the cracks…

Would a Saturday Mass fulfill the weekly obligation if,
because of , say, a work situation, make Sunday mass
out of the question?

If one had to work over an entire weekend, would one of the
daily masses suffice?

Dear Jeff,

The Saturday evening Vigil Mass of the Sunday is actually a Sunday mass. If you are not able to attend it or any of the Sunday masses for a legitimate reason, you are excused from the obligation. But you are encouraged to attend a weekday Mass if you can.
