Can you take communion at both. I am going to mass this morning and then tonight I am going to mass for the Sunday vigil. I haven’t done this before, it is a work schedule issue and I am not sure what to do. Does anyone know can you take communion at both since it is really one day but the masses are for two different days?

Yes. Even if this were not two different Masses you could still receive since the rule is that you can receive twice in one day as long as the second time is at a Mass you’re attending.

Yes, I’ve been doing the same for several months at my Priest’s request.

I’m Sacristan at the morning Mass and serve at the evening Mass.

Yes. No problem.

Right, and note that here [and elsewhere in Canon Law] a day is 24 hours, midnight-to-midnight, unless otherwise specified.
