Hello guys,

I’ve been asked to spear-head our parish’s capital campaign for this year.

Here’s what I need help with: I need to be pointed toward examples or stories about what people have done in the past to raise money for their parish. How can I execute a capital campaign successfully?

Please give me ANYTHING you’ve got. I need wisdom. God’s will be done.

My first stop would be the diocesan development office.

Your stewardship/development director there should be able to help you get started, give training/workshops to you and others in the parish who will be involved, craft and tailor the campaign materials, messaging, etc, possibly give you a toolkit already developed by thediocese, and guide you through the process.

Don’t try to do a capital campaign on your own!
