Saw this and thought it was very heart warming

In the pro-life movement, we sometimes don’t get to see the stories of mothers who chose life for their children whether deciding to raise them on their own or give them up for adoption while facing incredible trials in their lives. Anyway, not sure if this has been posted here before, but I saw this video show up on my facebook feed and kinda teared up a bit. Here is the link and a news article to it below:

I agree, there is so much pressure on women to have their babies, but yet it is taboo to suggest they give the kid up for adoption. Perhaps if adoption was an acceptable option, less parents would force their teenage daughters to have an abortion

It’s a nice article. But everyone is saying “give the child up for adoption.”
The correct term is “place the child for adoption.”
Terminology is important, especially in adoption and birth issues.

That’s partly why we get pregnant women saying “I could never give my child up; I’d rather get an abortion” – well, you’re giving him life, and a stable two parent family, so “placing” is a better term.
