“People must amend their lives and ask for pardon for their sins. They must not offend our Lord anymore for he is already too much offended.”

This worried me because I’m not a bad person but it made me think. Even if I/we go to confession and never repeat our mistakes from the past, has the damage already been done?. Am I past being forgiven no matter how much I try to change or stop?.

Were all gonna sin & do hurtful things lots more times before we die?

It shouldn’t have you worried if you do what those words say

Our Lady said that at Fatima. It was meant for everybody. As long as you are truly sorry for your sins and resolve to sin no more, you will be forgiven. Most people who do not die in a state of mortal sin will have some purgatory (purification) to undergo before being admitted to heaven.

There are numerous ways to reduce your time in purgatory, the best being devout assistance at Mass and praying the Rosary.

Indeed, and whilst I don’t doubt this words, please remember you are not required to believe in Marian Apparitions (although I tend to)

Fatima is one message we should heed to, adam.

after all, she did say a worst war would come if people did not repent. AND it DID!

Heed mary’s words that are from HER SON…repent and pray the rosary daily.

Jesus is already offended at the 1 MILLION abortions a year…

Nobody is past being forgiven, except the one who doesn’t ask forgiveness. Nothing in the quote says anything about people being so bad they can’t be forgiven. It only says we must ask for pardon. Which you say you have done and I assume do whenever you need to. The part about the Lord being “too much offended” doesn’t mean he’s at the point of being unwilling to forgive us. It means that by our sins we have been adding to the suffering of someone who has already suffered so greatly for us. This is his mother talking, saying please don’t hurt my son any more than he has been hurt already.

I remember my old priest reciting this quote during a homily at Mass and it scared me so bad! Since then, I’ve really changed my life completely. You are NEVER past the point of being forgiven, as long as you repent and change! Our Lady also said that the Rosary will aid in your salvation! Good luck, and God bless! I’ll be praying for you!

When I reverted, that was the one quote that really stood out. Akita was really the same message as well. And quite frankly, Our Lady has answered so many of my prayers, and has left me with an incredible number of personal signal graces, that I have almost no choice but to believe in this. My opinion is, most people the world over, have no inkling, no idea, no clue, what Our Lady has truly done for us. Instead, they tend to attribute whatever they have achieved, to themselves. I wish more people would take heed but, there we go. Some people are the types who are reprobates; they won’t listen. IMHO, some people just don’t want Heaven, that’s really it.

What are these personal signal graces that you receive if I may know? Does include some spiritual visions?

Yes they include a few spiritual visions, as well as a massive number of coincidences in my lifetime. Shoot me a PM if you really want to know.

I sometimes question the validity of some apparitions, even those approved by the Church.

They tend to show a God who isn’t all merciful but is vengeful and will torment those who do not earn His mercy and forgiveness. Instead of being a God who will bring us restorative justice, He’ll reek retributive justice on those of us who, even when we try, we fail and will be punished for all eternity. It doesn’t make sense. especially where not everyone receives God’s revelation equally.

I’ve just read from a priest who quoted one of the saints, that God doesn’t love us because we’ve been good, God loves us because He is good.

Also, the Marian Apparitions often contradict those of Jesus appearing to various people.

Divine Mercy contradicts much of the Marian Apparitions, especially Our Lady of Lasalette, which is a message of hopelessness for those who lack the will power to avoid sin. But then, the visionaries themselves went off the rails after the apparitions ended.

A friend of mine, a Lasalette priest, told me that many of the visionaries saw and heard messages that fit their own intellect and its how they interpreted what was told to them. They should not be taken too literally.

If God loves us unconditionally as the Church teaches, why do the messages of the apparitions place conditions on God’s love ?

Another priest I heard said that he believes God will judge us according to the proportion He has revealed Himself to us, but it also requires that we’re open to His revelation.

There are some who reject God outright and God will not force Himself on them.

The bottom line for me is, center yourself on Jesus, who is the source of mercy and faith.

I’ve also run through some of this to a priest in the confessional. He wasn’t particularly alarmed or anything. He was just more to the point of curiosity and concern for me than anything else, but there we go. Still, I don’t think people this world over really know, just how important Our Lady really is… Catholics included. They don’t get it. But not really for intellectual reasons. It was never for intellectual reasons. It’s also in my opinion, why St. Louis Marie de Montfort was so adamant about taking scholars, critics and wannabes to the shed.
