Praise God for your sister and her being a strong woman to choose life. Praise to you and your family for being supportive of her in what our society would call an “accident” and for NOT pushing abortion on her or making her feel as if that’s the only choice for a “young mother.”

I will certainly keep your sister in my prayers for her healing and may she always find God’s love in everything she does.

God bless your sister, especially now the she will no longer have as much attention from your family and none the adoptive parents, who naturally just want to bond as a new family. She will be on an emotional roller coaster for many months. She needs more love and time from her family than ever as she struggles to find her place, without her pregnancy/baby, in the world.

What a wonderful gift.
One of my sisters could not have children.She became a foster parent and she and her husband adopted two of the children. Her daughter was married last Saturday and her son is a Senior in High school.

Sorry, I didn’t even look at the date.
However NO prayer is ever wasted!
I’m not thinking clearly these days. Lots of things have happened. My brother in law died May 7 and my mother in law May 23, my cousin was diagnosed with brain cancer and he died two weeks later and through all of this we were planning my daughter’s wedding. My husband has lost his job of nearly 28 years due to downsizing, he’s had open heart surgery and valve repair, he’s depressed and really needs counseling. He thinks we need to look at a legal separation…we’ve been married for 36 wonderful years. There have been highs and lows, but that’s life and we will survive this too. I have a strong faith. The cup is always half-full, never half-empty. He doesn’t see it that way.

…what a beautiful story. I am going to Mass this evening, and will pray for her, the baby, the adoptive parents, and your family. As hard as this was (and I can’t imagine) it would be SO much harder for her to live with herself after an abortion. I saw a woman’s life almost completely destroyed by that. She gave that little boy life. Praise God!
