What was NOT said, yielding anything but perspective is that they went from a total of 5 to 7. == “perspective!!”
There were ~70 hate crimes directed against Catholics in 2007, out of a total of 1628 hate crimes motivated by religion in general. In 2008, the numbers climbed to ~88 out of 1732.Hmm…

Sure thing.Hi Hatsoff,
I’d like to know your source for those numbers.
I find the whole idea of “Hate” crimes to be somewhat foolish.Hmm…

Two guys are in a bar watching a football game. They get in a fight over an officiating call in the game. Guy A wins the fight but is arrested for a “hate crime” They fought over the results of a football game and sexual preference had nothing to do with it. How can this be a “hate crime”?I’m sorry, cthulhubryan, but would you please clarify that? Do you mean “happens to be” as in the fight was about something totally unrelatied, like who found the wallet on the street, or “happens to be” as in because the other guy is a homosexual?
I’m asking because it is silly to classify the former as a hate crime, and it isn’t. The second is, and is increasingly occuring due to religious conflicts. So what are you talking about?
Was there any real information in this? I waited and waited and didn’t see any, but maybe I was distracted by the little phrases up in the corner at odd moments and the Mick Jagger jeans.
