He 110% for me as a SAHM, and always defends me when people start wanking about how I “should be working”.
My husband is the same way Mylo. And I don’t even have children to stay at home for. Double shock factor for the worldly. ;)😃 He is always telling me how valuable my being a SAHW is to our family of two. ❤️ He also defends me and consoles me when people who say otherwise, including when I get down on myself about not being able to work outside the home. He always replies with “you DO work, you work hard taking care of me and everything at home for me so I can have more time to relax and be with you.” ❤️ He makes me smile when he says that. All warm and fuzzy inside. 🙂

My DH puts up with all of my flaws, takes care of me when my Crohn’s flares, runs errands when I can’t, cooks awesome meals, etc. He has a great sense of humor and is very humble. Whenever I compliment him on how good he looks or how awesome his cooking is, he will tell me to be quiet or stop it.

I can’t help it b/c I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful man for almost 12 yrs.!!!

The good Lord knew what He was doing when we met. :)🙂

I am the man I am today because of two reasons.

The first reason is because of God and His manifest blessings and mercy He has poured on me all the days of my life in spite of my sinful nature and continual failure to keep my reconciliatory promise to avoid the near occasion of sin.

The second is because my wife prayed, no, begged and pleaded with God to keep me safe and to change my life.

If I want to model my life after a saint I have to look no further than our kitchen as she cooks supper or roll over and gaze at her dozing on the pillow next to me in the morning when I awaken.

I love her so much that tears are welling up as I write this.

My life has always been a life of extremes, but with the prayers from my wife on my behalf, the guidance of our parish priest, the Grace of God, and Jesus’ Divine Mercy and promise of salvation through His Sacred Heart, life is good, and the future is even better.

We have been married 34 years.

He took work off on Friday to take our son to the doctor (he needed to get caught up on some vaccinations). When I got home from work that day, he’d taken out the garbage, emptied the dishwasher, and had done most of the laundry – all on his own initiative.

My DH is one of the hardest working men I know. He’s the one who sent me to graduate school, and because of him we have a nice place to live. He was my #1 fan all through grad school and is the main reason I stuck with it and managed to graduate. He’s always pushing me to be my best and I wouldn’t be where I am without him.

Plus, he loves my cooking and does a great job of cleaning up after I cook. 🙂

My spouse provides me a daily faith lesson by example in grace and caring loving humility. In this I am most blessed by the Father.
