Saying Rosary In a Family for Indulgence

Is saying the rosary in a family group of 2 people (myself and my mom), even though my dad and my brother don’t participate, enough to get an indulgence or does everyone in the family have to participate?

According to the 2006 Manual of Indulgences, it just says “family” with no clarification.

Are you intending this as a FAMILY devotion–or just private devotion for the two of you that you happen to be doing together?

It seems to me the INTENTION is a family devotion (even if not everyone shows up), therefore the indulgence should apply.

And are there not indulgences attached to the rosary anyway?

Once again, just my guess, but I’d say that even if some, not all of your family members are present, that would count.
