Does anyone have a thought on whether it is okay to say the Rosary while walking?
I did that this morning .

The Rosary Way is a peaceful part of Aylesford Priory in Kent where pilgrims come to pray and reflect, stopping at each of the Fifteen Mysteries of the Rosary displayed along the walls.

Pope St JP II said the Rosary while going on walks.

Setting aside a time for private prayer in a room is very good.

This reminds me of the old joke about the religious who asked his superior if he could smoke while praying, to which the superior answered in the negative. He then asked if he could pray while smoking, to which the superior answered “why, of course! That sanctifies it!”

Me personally, I pray the Rosary while walking my dog but I never walk my dog while praying the Rosary.

I use the Anglican Rosary, but I pray it every morning on my walk to the train.

I live in a busy city, so I feel like Im surrounded by a bubble of peacefulness while I pray in the hustle and bustle of the city. 🙂
