Scared after ouija board usage,please help?

Hello,
Last night me and several cousins made a makeshift ouija board and attempted to contact spirits and believed we came across one but could not tell if it was a demon or ghost,we were positive it wasn’t an angel regardless.We finished at 12 last night and it has been mentally torturing me,it was very out of character for me to dabble in dark spirituality as I try and stay faithful to the catholic religion.Me and my cousins said the prayer to st. Michael after we used it and the st. Jude prayer but still feel scared.I denounce it completely but worry for my families health and mine and I just want to sleep in peace.Does anyone have any recommendations for novenas,candles,prayers etc…?
 
If you think you are really experiencing this, talk to a priest, and don’t dabble in such things again. Continue to pray the St. Michael prayer. Am praying for you.

Continue praying to St. Michael for protection. Wear a 100 percent wool brown scapular all the time. Have your scapular blessed. Once blessed, you can wash it out – no problem. Also, wear a St. Benedict medal. Continue to contact us for prayer if you need more help. By the blood of Jesus, God bless and protect you.

O.P., we’re all praying for you. You need to talk to your parish priest about this. God’s mercy is endless, and His power is infinite. His Mother’s foot has crushed the head of the serpent, and you can trust in the Lord your God.
 
Please take the advice of earlier posters and please don’t be afraid anymore. God is with you and will protect you with his all abiding love.
Can remember messing with a ouija board with a group of college friends, back in the 60s. We scared ourselves too much to ever try it again.
Take a firm hold of your Crucifix and trust absolutely in God’s loving mercy. All will be well.

Here’s your 100% answer: there are a few people in the deliverance ministry in my country that have written books on how they’ve handled this situation
Try to get all your cousins to do the following:
  1. ouiji board is black magic, it is also pagan, demons move the pieces nothing to do with God, it’s breaking the first commandment: ‘Thou shalt not have strange gods before me.’
    You need to confess this to a priest, this breaks the hold of the bad spirit on all of your souls from using one of his tools. After you confess to a priest, then you can follow steps 2, 3, 4, etc… Right now in the meantime make an act of contrition, apologise to God the Father, and ask St Michael and Our Lady (she crushes the serpents head) to protect you, and ask Jesus to cover you all with His precious blood to protect you.
  2. if you still have the ouiji board -break it and dump it and sprinkle it with holy water. bless the area it was used with Holy Water (can be gotten in church). Command all evil spirits to leave in the Name of Jesus and never return. Consecrate the room to Our Lady and to Jesus Sacred Heart. Ask God to cover that room with His blessings.
  3. Renounce. After having confessed, you have to renounce (whisper at home) the bad spirits involved, ‘I renounce in the Name of Jesus Christ evil spirits of ouij boards, of divination, of black magic, of satan worship, all evil spirits and command them to leave immediately with all their evil companions, directly without any harm, violence, revenge or manifestation towards myself, my family, relatives, friends and associates, I command them to never return in the Name of Jesus, and to go directly to His presence in the nearest Blessed Sacrament of the Altar where at the foot of the Cross Jesus will dispose of them according to His good and holy wishes.’
  4. Claim all the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit to fill up you and your friends, faith, hope, charity, wisdom, understanding, knowledge , fortitude, piety, peace, love, joy, meekness, humility , goodness, faithfulness , self control, prayer, daily conversion,
    This should solve your problem completely and protect you again . Because bad spirits gain access to your family tree when you dabble with black magic and they have to be removed.
  5. if you are still experiencing any problems, ask your parents can you have a mass said in that room (ask the local priest and he can bless the room when he’s there),
  6. if there is still problems you would need to tell your parish priest, and ask your bishop for a meeting with someone in the deliverance ministry or exorcism ministry. But the above should fix EVERYTHING and that won’t be necessary hopefully.

It seems you have already received excellent advice here, Jmsmyth. We are praying for you. Do accept our counsel and speak to your priest as soon as possible. Go to confession and continue with your prayers to God. Do all you can as the Church advises, and then rest in the knowledge that Jesus has heard and will help you. Have faith in His power to keep you safe.

Above all, learn from this experience. Do not ever, in your lifetime, go near such a thing again. Dispense with it–ouija board and any implement related to the occult, including, if any, books and movies. It is well that you realize your error and are trying your best to make amends. However, it is always better to avoid this kind of error to begin with. The devil is not a toy to be played with; no matter how innocent a game appears at first, if he is in it you will always lose.

Fr Robert de Grandis was a priest involved in the healing and deliverance ministry.
He composed a prayer of complete protection from all evil (that’s to be said daily). I say it everyday. Two deliverance people in my country have written books and advise people to say this prayer for protection from evil.

I place myself in the presence of Jesus Christ and submit to His Lordship. I ‘Put on God’s armour so as to be able to resist the devil’s tactics’ (Ephesians 6;10-11). Do go to confession and tell the others to go.
Otherwise the spirits involved can bother yee (maybe not now, but eventually, with sickness, or bad luck, temptations, affect your prayer life , misfortune, a neighbour of mine used the ouiji board and approx 10 years later a sickness hit him and he became a different person. I’ve read the books two deliverance people in my country wrote, (anything to do with black magic has a curse attached to it
and lets bad spirits have access to the people involved
that will surface somewhere in the family line if not confessed

I’m not saying this to scare you, but to show you confession cures all that completely.

If you decide to confess, and pray prayers of protection God will mind you until you get to confession.

I plan to go to confession tomorrow and confess my sins and then hopefully spend some time in Eucharistic adoration.I cannot thank you all enough of your prayers and help hopefully after confession The Lord will take away all fear in my heart.
 
Please go to Confession and explain this to your priest. Burn the “board” and go to Mass and stay close to the Holy Sacraments. If problems persist you must visit with someone in your diocese about this but hopefully that won’t be necessary.

If you can’t get a priest to bless your room get some holy water and bless it yourself “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” and say the St. Michael prayer at the same time. Also get some holy oil and bless your doors, walls, windows etc in the same manner, commanding all spirits to leave your home and all who dwell in it, in the name of the Father etc. But continue to look for a priest who will say the mass and bless the room.

You don’t have to tell your parents if you think they might not help or believe,

Good idea to ask Pope John Paul to help you out,
Pope John Paul is a saint now isn’t he, a priest who had cancer blessed himself with a Pope John Paul relic and was cured miraculously, a woman with cancer heard him tell her ‘Arise and walk’ from a magazine photo of him and she was cured miraculously too.

Will your cousins get to confess too? It’s very important they do,
Maybe you could tell whatever grown up you know eg a grandmother and she would take them to confession (and they could get holy water while there)

Get holy water while you are at church, it should be in bottles, or bring an empty bottle to fill up, or ask the priest if there is not a way to fill up the water, and you can take that home to bless where the board was used, and to bless the board itself
(Remember my advice in the post of consecrating the room to our Lady’s immaculate heart and Jesus sacred heart, and saying/ whispering very quietly
'In the Name of Jesus I banish all evil spirits of ouiji boards… Etc ’ (see my post on what to say), and say, ‘I claim God’s blessing on this room, I claim any territory given over to satan back now as God’s territory.’

God’s going to start protecting you as of now since you’ve decided to confess (though you still have to go through with the confession,

The confession, and prayer steps I told you should fix everything.

You could ask the priest after confession would he mind giving you a blessing to remove any harm of what you did, just say it maybe after confession (it’s not essential but you can ask this if you want) the priests hands are anointed and give Jesus Blessing

God will mind you -just continue with these plans to fix it
