Hello, I’m sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I posted it in the news section and I would like to hear what some other people think. I know there are families with high-school and college-aged children who are active on this forum, so I thought I would post here.
This article is really bothering me:
theblaze.com/contributions/the-vaticans-sex-abuse-tribunal-and-the-cover-up-that-went-unpunished/
According to the article, some of the people in charge of the boy’s school, St. Gregory’s, are some of the same people who were on staff who “withheld important facts in depositions” during an investigation into an abuse that resulted in a lawsuit.
And the college, Thomas More, has connections with this boy’s school?
I’m saddened because they both present themselves as the sorts of schools you would really want to send your kids to. But if they are having these problems, I wouldn’t consider sending my children to them.
What are your thoughts?
