Schoenstatt Movement?

I was invited to join the Schoenstatt movement at a religious educators’ conference. From what I’ve read this does seem to be approved by the Church, but I would appreciate knowing more about it from those who already belong or who know more that what I’ve been able to learn on the Net.

I had a spiritual director that is a priest with the Schoenstatt fathers, a very good example of Christian charity and also a very good example of complete orthodoxy. In my opinion they are an interesting movement with a well defined charisma and no wishy washy attitudes. They have a good presence here in central Texas.
