This is from memory, therefore I am not sure. Steven H. seems to say that he comes up with an idea, then looks to see if it could have happened. This is what I mean by “a priori.” There is no way of witnessing the event over and over again. That is what I mean by science “a posteriori.”
Those that do not have the ability to accept or comprehend the five philosophical arguments for the existence of a god(s) attack it on the grounds of saying it is “a priori.” It is not. In a Brief History of Time it seems that the Big Bang believers actual do use “a priori.”
Again, I do not know, but it seems that there are accredited scientists with Ph. D.s that do not accept the Big Bang. I am not sure, but I think that in the documentary Expelled, Stein interviews some of them.
In other words, the jury is really still out, in my limited comprehension of the math and science.
The philosophy, not the religion and theology,is against the Big Bang without a designer.
Therefore there are really two Big Bangs, one designed, one that is self-caused. Really, really, really, really big differences in the two.
Also, there are galaxies and stars coming at us by the billions upon billions. I know that the percentage is really, really small. But they are coming at us. Oh, it could easily be in the trillions upon trillions.
Also, we have not witnessed the edges of the physical universe. This is a really, really, really big point, in my judgment, limited as it is.
Again, the Big Bang theory put forth by A Brief History of Time, will not allow philosophy in the area of the origin of the universe. Human reason created math, science, technology, logic and philosophy. To exclude it is unreasonable.
