What Theological School would our late, great Holy Father Pius XII have embraced?

Neo- Thomism, was, at that time the most common Theological School in the Church, correct?

Correct.
Lagrange is supposed to be THE neo-thomist, but after the council, as a method of theology, it went to the wayside.

John Paul II was a supporter of Personalistic Thomism. How is this different from Neo- Thomism? Also, what became the popular School of Thought after the Council?

I never heard of “personalistic thomism” but I think I understand what you are getting at, namely that John Paul II emphasized relationship. I would not refer to him as a thomist at all though. What is the predominant school of theology today? I am not sure, but I would say that there is a more “patristic” approach to theology instead of the neo-scholastic method.
