I’m looking for a directory/listing of traditional schools for K-8th grade. Spam me with your directory or why you love the school your kids attend 😃

What diocese do you live in? There should be a list of K-8 schools on their website.

What is your definition of “traditional”? In our area you have a much better chance of attending any given Catholic School if you belong and are active in the parish it is associated with. In order to be accredited by universities, almost all Catholic schools teach to the state standards. Good Luck!

Oh, sorry…I thought traditional automatically meant “Tridentine Latin Mass”

I’m not looking for a Novus Ordo school. I’m looking for schools that center around the Extraordinary Form of the Liturgy and are in union with Rome (no sedevacantists.)

We are considering relocating…would like info on small schools that have families that enjoy the Tridentine Mass like we do 🙂

I’m aware of one FSSP school in Kansas, but we are looking more at Texas, Florida and the southern states.

Hmm, not sure where you plan on going. My four daughters go to St. Thomas in Corry, PA. Its a Roman Catholic Church and the school is beyond excellent. Its a small school but the best school we have ever seen in our area. The teachers are wonderful and they truely care about the children, they do not tolerate bullying of any kind, and have an accelerated curriculum, though they do cater to those with special learning needs. The classes are combined ( since its a school of 70 from prek to 8th grade) so children in each grade level get the best of both worlds. If you speak to people who live in our area not one person who has sent their child(ren) have ever had complaints.

Hope that was what you were asking for.

We live in San Antonio and are parishioners at St. Pius X. We have the Latin mass on Sundays at noon, the first Friday of each week, Saturday mornings, and one weekday morning each week (Wednesdays I think). Our parish does have a school and they attend mass each Friday, so they are exposed to the Latin mass even if their family attends the ordinary form.

We love our parish community, and often attend Latin mass, but our children do not go to the parish school, so I cannot speak to that. Feel free to send me a private message if you would like more information—any questions that I don’t know the answer to, I can either find out or find a point of contact for you.
